The Local Best - Mobridge team Toby Mauck and Shawn Schmidt worked their local magic today to stay in the hunt for taking home a trophy more importantly some cash. However for this team, it's about neither of those. Both of these anglers are seasoned fisherman from the Mobridge area and know what it takes to get the job done. They fish because they enjoy the sport and they welcome the competition. Today the team weighted in 10.44lbs of Walleye only 4.36lbs out of first place. In a brief interview with both anglers after today's weight in, they indicated that they put on a lot of miles today, fishing various depths trying to determine a pattern for fishing the remainder of the tourney. Both anglers figure that they will need to bring in more weight tomorrow to stay in position and maybe even more to advance.
