Fiedler and Schilling win MWC 2010 Lake Oahe

No surprise to many of the fans in attendance at the MWC final day weight-in from Scherr Howe Arena in Mobridge South Dakota. The first stop of the West Division of the Masters Walleye Curcit. With a consistent two day total, Professional team Fiedler and Schilling bring in the basket to take the win. Traveling several miles to the North Dakota Border, Kenel Flats, for two days back to back the team maintained their average from day one which was enough for the win.
Not having a great day or even great week of prefishing, in fact not even catching a fish in pre-fish. The team decided only a half hour from the first day boat launch that they would roll the dice and head North to Kenel Flats, mostly based on history of the fishery. OH and Chad had visited with a friend of his that has a garbage run in the Pollock, SD area, and the information found, was that he picked up a dumpster full of cleaned Walleye Fillets just recently, of course Chad chuckling said "That played a huge part in our decision to make the run North."

Corey Fielder grew up in java South Dakota, and has been fishing the river as long, he has seen high water, low water and everything in-between. Corey fishes professionally in the MWC events, and also fishes a lot of local tournaments. After all it was his decision to fish with the Pink lure that caught the big fish on the final day. So this team was a perfect mix for a Team event, it takes both minds to stay focused and on task, these two guys got it done. From garbage tip, to the pink lure, this is a well deserving victory for two guys that work hard for the sport of fishing.
